An ancient paint containing just five simple ingredients – milk protein (casein), limestone, clay, chalk and natural & synthetic pigments. When absorbed into the surface, Milk Paint will never chip or peel when applied to a raw wood surface. It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications.
Milk paint needs to be sealed. You can achieve a chippy finish, cracked texture using heat while paint dries, or a flawlessly smooth finish. Once you are done painting give your piece a light sand to smooth out the finish. Then seal. Wax is always a last step. If you want to use Tough Coat and Antiquing Wax you will use Tough Coat first and then add the wax.
